Welcome parents and students. My name is Parrish Tubbs and I have taught in the Winston-Salem Forsyth County School System since 2004. The 2012-2013 7th grade Humanities curriculum will focus on World History/ Renaissance thru Modern History. The units that will be covered are;
Unit 9: New World Order- Under Revision
I really look forward to working with all of my students and parents. So come along as we begin our journey.
Classroom Expectations:
All assignments must be completed on time unless there is an emergency situation or I have prior knowledge. I will enforce the late policy from the student handbook.
Rules/Regulations:
- Any student that hinders the ability of another student from learning will be dealt with according to the student discipline policy found within the student handbook.
- Cell phones are permitted in the building but must be turned off and out of view. Any electronic device (Ipod, gaming device, ect...) will be taken from student and taking to the office for parents to pick up.
- Book bags are NOT permitted in the classrooms.

Test/Projects- 40%
Quizzes- 25%
Homework/Classwork- 25%
Participation- 10%
After School Tutoring
Tutorig will be offered on Thursday from 2:45-3:30. If tutoring is required at any other times, students will need to make arrangments with me in advance.
