MIDDLE COLLEGE FOLLOWS THE INCLEMENT WEATHER CLOSINGS OF FORSYTH TECH

Forsyth Middle College is a collaborative project of the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools and Forsyth Technical Community College. 

Certified as a Small High School by North Carolina State Department of Public Instruction

Four period day schedule operating from 12:00 noon - 4:50 pm, Monday through Friday

Four quarters per academic year, 180 day school year

Students take four high school courses per day, per quarter.

Electives are taken through Forsyth Technical Community College as dual enrollment classes.

Formal graduation ceremony at end of school year

Diploma awarded by Forsyth County Board of Education

All North Carolina state and local graduation requirements are required for graduation.

MISSION STATEMENT

Middle College is a program designed for High School students that may need an alternative academic environment to do his or her best academic work.  The Forsyth County Middle College will provide a student with a student-centered learning environment where each student will focus on individual educational choices, academic and vocational, relevant to a successful future.
