Standard Mode of Dress 2009 - 2010
Trousers/Shorts/Skirts/Jumpers
*Colors are khaki (tan/beige) or black.
*Garments worn above the hipbone. No sagging.
*Skirts, shorts, or jumpers must be worn at knee length or longer. (Capri pants are also appropriate.)
Shirts
*Three types of collared shirts are allowed in long or short sleeves:
Knit (Golf/Polo type) shirts
Oxford shirts
Broadcloth shirts
*Colors are white, black, khaki (tan/beige), purple, and yellow/gold.
*Shirttails longer than wrist-length must be tucked in.
*Shirts must be plain.
Other Garments
*Outer garments worn in the building during the school day (such as vests, sweaters, light jackets,
or sweat shirts) must
be a solid color of white, black, purple, yellow/gold, or khaki (tan/beige). Note that
this
does not pertain to
heavy coats worn to school during cold weather. Heavy coats of any color,
weight, or style may
be worn to school, but they must be stored during the day.
*Layered garments visible underneath shirts (such as T-shirts, turtle neck shirts, or camis) or shorts/skirts (tights or leggings) must be a solid color of white, black, khaki (tan/beige), purple, or yellow/gold.

may have no more than two standard front (or side) pockets and two

Shirts

Outer Garments
Outer
garments worn in the building (such as vests, sweaters, light jackets,
or sweat shirts) must be a solid color of white, black, purple,
yellow/gold, or khaki. Note that this does not pertain to heavy coats
worn to school during cold weather. Heavy coats of any color, weight,
or style may be worn to school, but they must be stored during the day.
The outer garments shown below are examples of those appropriate for school wear during the school day. As with shirts, small logos are allowed, but large logos that extend across the garmet are not allowed. The only exception to this is school spirit wear such as hoodies. These may have larger Hanes logos as long as they are in the appropriate colors.

Ordinarily, hoodies and shirts may have small logos only. The hoodies shown below are in the allowed colors and have the pre-approved Hanes logo. Therefore, they do meet the dress code. |

Outer garments must be solid and in one of the approved colors. The colors/patterns of the outerwear below are not appropriate.
