One of the great strengths of Reynolds High School is its diversity. Reynolds is more diverse than most of us realize as we attend a football game or volunteer on campus. Among 1,700 students, there are more than 100 students from more than 30 different countries.
Many of these students would benefit from one on one tutoring. To be an ESL tutor, you do not need to speak Spanish, Korean or Taglog. You just need to speak English and have a little time to help an ESL student with Biology or English, or History or Math.
I am always in search of volunteers to help our ESL students. Tutoring slots are available each day, throughout the day. There is no planning of the tutor. Students will meet you with their assignments. If you are interested in being an ESL tutor, or you simply want to know more about the program, please feel free to contact me.
