Summer Reading Information

Children, teens and adults are encourage to read as many age-appropriate books as possible during the months of June and July.  All library locations will hold an array of special programs, not only for reading, but to enjoy music, magic shows, author visits and many entertaining programs.  Each library branch will have a different schedule so check the website for details.

May 12 Kickoff at the William G. White YMCA 

775 West End Blvd., in Winston-Salem. Kids of all ages, parents, and teachers are invited to this free event to learn more about the 2016 Bookmarks Summer Reading Program presented by Blue Door Group! Enjoy pizza, games, prizes, and a short presentation by 2016 Festival Author Bonnie Doerr. Please reserve your space on the website or calling: 336-747-1471.

Kids can earn a free book by bringing a completed reading journal back to the store.
