Officer Bert Cantu is our assigned officer for the 2012-2013 school year. Main Street Academy is now affiliated with the Winston-Salem Police Department. Officer Cantu has over eleven (11) years experience in law enforcement. He previously served as the roving SRO for the WSFCS district. Officer Cantu is originally from Texas and makes his home in Winston-Salem. He currently serves in the N.C. National Guard and has served in Iraq from 2008-2010.
