The Innovators Team is a group of active 8th graders at MSMS. A large portion of our team speaks Spanish as their first language. All of the students are inquisitive and getting ready to advance to high school next year. They participate in active learning in the four core subjects: Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies. The students will take three EOGs (End-of-Grade) tests this year in Reading, Math, and Science. In addition the Algebra class will take an End-of -Course test that determines whether they get high school credit for the course. In all of the tested courses the test will count 25% of their final grade in that course.
Our students will be hosting Student-Led Conferences November 2-4. Please sign up for a time when you, your student and the teachers can tell you what they have done first quarter. This will also be the time that you will receive the student's 1st quarter report cards.
