A Message From Our Principal Greetings! Welcome to the 2011-2012 school year!
As Principal, I welcome you to the Middle College of Forsyth County at Forsyth Tech.
I am excited and humbled to begin this school year as the new Principal. Middle College of Forsyth County is celebrating 10 years of providing quality educational opportunities. As we acknowledge this milestone, we will focus our conversation on one Essential Question: "Who are we?"
The staff and faculty will implement a year-long inquiry to redefine the goals and mission of Middle College. We will also thoughtfully consider how we function in three areas --- instruction, academics, and culture --- so we are better able to meet the needs of all our students.
- Instruction: we will begin to unpack the new Common Core Standards so teachers and students will be ready for full implementatin 2012-2013.
- Academics: we will continue to focus on helping students succeed and graduate.
- Culture: we will analyze what we represent as a school, what we want to represent, and how we can better serve the needs of all our students.
