Nominations now being accepted for Classified Employee of the Year (11/8/11)
Nominations are being accepted until Dec. 9 for the Classified Employee of the Year. The award honors a classified employee who displays exemplary characteristics while carrying out the duties of his or her job. Classified employees are those who work in a position that does not require certification -- including jobs in housekeeping, food service, maintenance, transportation, secretarial, teaching assistants, educational aides, paraprofessionals, finance, purchasing, IT (information technology), research and public relations. Any employee can nominate any classified employee, and there can be more than one nomination per work site.
