Message From Our PTSA President: As President of KMS PTSA, I am eager to work alongside the many parents who help us achieve important volunteer goals throughout the year.
To be certain we stay on task, I share with you the PTA Vision Statement: Making every child’s potential a reality.
I encourage you to find a way to get involved at KMS. Help with the Book fair, grade level activities, school grounds and beautification projects or volunteer in the school; work in the media center or the office. KMS needs you and your talents!
We have a wonderful board of parents who are chairing various activities throughout the year. Please join them in an area that might interest you. Your ideas are always welcome and I encourage your feedback throughout the year. So that we can meet your needs and hear your concerns, please take the time to complete an online survey. The survey can be found on the PTSA page of the schools website.

One Team, One Dream Direct Donation
Grade Level Competition
We are off and running with our direct donation campaign. Now it is time to get you “the students” excited about the competition. It is really easy, the grade level that raises the most money wins! Now, what do you win? Every student (from the winning grade level) that donated to the campaign gets their name in a drawing for the chance to win an XBOX, IPOD or $100 gift card. But remember in order for your name to go into the drawing your grade level has to raise the most money. The drawing will take place at the Student vs Staff basketball game in the Spring. And yes, you do have to be present to win.
So, is it gonna be the 6th, 7th or 8th grade that wins? Only time and donations will tell.
Oh, and by the way, the 7th grade is in the lead...........
