Wow! The Aviators are a fortunate bunch, since they have been randomly assigned to the best team in the school. The teacher team is made up of four professionals with lots of diverse experiences. We have taught in high schools, other countries, private schools, special education, youth clubs, churches, and, most importantly, we all love Hanes.
During the open house, we learned that our parents (extended learning team) also bring a diverse bunch of skills to our classroom. Pastors, Police, Engineers, Doctors, Nurses, Musicians, Teachers, Cooks, Hairstylist, Truck Drivers, Homemakers, a Combat Instructor, Photographers, IT specialist, Yogist(one who practices yoga?), Nanotechnologist, Gardeners, Breeders, Funeral Directors, Architects, Pharmacists, Physical Therapists, Radiologists, Attorneys, Psychologists, Chemists, Entomologists, Counselors, and Graphic Designers just to name of few,
Yes, we hope to figure out ways that you can share your skills with our students that will enhance our curriculum. It is always better to hear it from one who uses the knowledge versus the teacher.
