Welcome to the new and improved Carter High School! It is hard to believe that we are in our second year in our beautiful new school. Our building still looks and feels like it is brand new and our wonderful students and staff are responsible for taking such great care of things. The level of excitement in the building is almost as high as it was on our first day. Come visit sometime and get the feel of the place

Our campus is growing and changing a little bit more every day. We are looking forward to opening our new and improved cafeteria that we will share with Kennedy and the Career Center and we are REALLY looking forward to having a permanent driveway! Thank you for your patience and understanding when we have to change things around sometimes. Sometimes the road is a little bumpy or you need to walk a little further to find a new entrance but try to keep your mind focused on the big picture: we are going to be part of the most exciting integrated school campus that Winston Salem has ever known! OUR students will be part of three schools with new technology and course offerings that will help prepare us ALL for the future!
