The following Java games/applications were developed by my students, and many of them are outstanding.  The medals and stars next to the game were awarded after the students voted on what they considered to be the best games. 
 
To play a game using the EXECUTABLE JAR file (preferred method):
If your computer allows you to launch jar files and there are no other files required, you can simply click on the jar file and select OPEN to play the game.  Otherwise:
  1. Click on the jar file and select SAVE to save it to your flash drive or computer.
  2. Click on the other files (possibly a background image) and save it to the same folder as the jar file.
  3. After extracting all files, simply double-click on the fexecutable jar file to run the game.
  4. Note: If you need help when playing a game and cannot find the Help function, try pressing the H key.
