Welcome to Walkertown High School Booster Club!
As you can imagine we are excited to have our "Pack" back in town! The campus is not only beautiful but it is a state of the art facility. If you have not been by to see this masterpiece we would encourage you to do so. We promise you will not be disappointed.
As your your Booster Club, our mission is to enrich, improve, develop, and support all athletic activities at Walkertown High School.
To accomplish this we will need your support. Many would assume as a new school the district would supply everything that is needed for our sports teams, that would be incorrect. As a district, their responsibility is to provide the essentials for which each school builds upon. For example, they provided us with beautiful grounds however the school is responsible for the maintenance; mowing, fertilizing, seeding, etc. Our Athletic Director, Tim Hagmann, can be seen on many days mowing and grooming the fields.
We have been approved for a loan from the district that will help to purchase and improve many key items for the athletic department. Our immediate needs consist of a rotary mower and paint machine. Our near future needs include irrigation and dugouts for the baseball field.
How Can You Help?
- Become a member. Your investment of $25.00 will help us to not only support the teams we have but will help support future team sports.
- Come out and enjoy an afternoon or evening of sports fun! Watch a football, baseball, or softball game with the beautiful blue sky of Walkertown overhead. Or come inside for a basketball game where you can also get a glimpse of our beautiful building.
- Come HUNGRY! All proceeds from the concession stand stay at WHS. We have great food items and hope to add more for the 2012-2013 season.
- Participate in our fundraisers. Through out the year we will have events to raise money for our student athletes. Some may be for individual sports and some may be for the good of all. We currently are running a shoe drive. Our group will receive 20 cents per pound for all shoes turned in during the drive. Our goal is 15000 pair which will net us approximately $3000.00!
- Show your Wolfpack Pride! Purchase from our wide variety of spirit apparel. We have t-shirts, collared shirts, hats, gloves, scarves, and much more to choose from. Everyone looks good in red!
