Spencer L. Hardy comes to Main Street Academy after serving as principal of Atkins High School of Biotechnology. He has served Winston Salem Forsyth County Schools for seventeen (17) years. Prior to his three (3) year tenure as Atkins principal, he was the Assistant Principal at Mount Tabor High School for 10 years collectively as Assistant Principal and classroom teacher. Additionally, he was Assistant principal at LEAP Academy for three (3) years. Mr. Hardy has also taught at Petree Optional Middle School for two (2) years.
Mr. Hardy earned his undergraduate degree in 1989 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and received his Master of School Administration Degree from Appalachain State University in 1999.
