Mandarin Chinese Immersion Program
The Chinese partial immersion program is offered to students in kindergarten through fifth grade. They can continue their studies of Mandarin Chinese at Philo Magnet Academy and then in high school courses appropriate for language proficiency.
Konnoak is among 4% of schools in the United States that provides instruction in Mandarin Chinese as part of its international studies magnet program also. Students also have opportunities to learn other languages so that they leave Konnoak with bilingual or multilingual communication skills.

Konnoak “powers on” students with classrooms that are equipped with Smart boards, Smart slates, laptops and ActiVotes that are used in all subject areas from pre-kindergarten to fifth grade.
