Hi. I am happy to be a counselor in two wonderful schools this year, and am excited about being part of the student support staffs. Here is a little information about me:
I live in Oak Ridge and am delighted about being the mother of a young lady who is a freshman at UNC Chapel Hill. Most every weekend, you can find me on the side line of her soccer games. I enjoy being out doors and love to hike, walk, run, ski, and travel. I am a lover of children, nature, animals, music, and good food. I have a golden retriever and too many cats.
I have been a teacher in grades 6 thru 8 and have been a counselor in WS/FCS for 10 years. In 2009, I recieved my National Board certification for School Counseling, and now look forward to the thrilling events of this school year.
