Athletic Booster Club
The Athletic Booster Club (ABC) of East Forsyth High School invites you to become a member in one of the most active support groups at East Forsyth High School. Our non-profit organization supports , promotes and encourages athletics for all Eagle sports. The Athletic Booster Club members (parents, coaches, student athletes and fans) strives each year to make athletics at EFHS a very rewarding experience for the athlete and at the same time an enjoyable experience for the fans. In recent years the EFHS ABC has raised and dispersed over $600,000 in form of Scholarships, Capital Improvements, Recognition Banquets & Receptions, Equipment replacement and maintenance, Team travel expenses, Senior athlete gifts, Athletic signage & banners, Field Scoreboards....the list goes on & on. ABC contributes to 15 sports - totaling 36 different teams (Men and Women, Varsity and JV programs).
General Fund financial support varies each year based on coaching staff requests. These however are a few of the constant funded projects that the ABC oversees each year.
Senior Scholarships - Each year the ABC offers four scholarships to student athletes. Two Male scholarships and two Female. These are only available to student athletes who are associated with a current family membership. A selection committee is assembled each year to review eligible applicants and scholarships are awarded on both academic and athletic merit. Applications must be submitted by student athletes based on published guidelines in order to be considered.
- Recognition Events & Senior Gifts - The Athletic Booster Club provides funds for end of season team banquets for all varsity rostered players. Each team is able to create their own recognition ceremony which allows players, coaches and parents a unique opportunity to highlight the successes of the season. All Senior athletes are also presented a East Forsyth Stadium Blanket for the dedication to their sport(s).
- Concession Stands - With the help of staffing by team parents , the ABC funds and maintains concessions for most events held in the stadium and Baseball fields. This project alone accounts for approx 25% of our annual budget.
Spring Golf Tournament - Each year the ABC hosts a Golf Tournament that fields approx 20+ 4-man teams in a fun Captains Choice format. Team entries and Corporate sponsored holes results in the largest annual fund raiser for the club.
