Hello and welcome to Kernersville Elementary School! Let me begin by telling you a little about myself. I was born in Winston-Salem, NC and graduated from Parkland High School. After completing an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Winston-Salem State University, I began my teaching career at Moore Elementary School under the auspice of Mrs. Geneva Brown. After nine years, I transferred to Wiley Middle School and taught math and science.  During my time at Wiley Middle School I completed a Masters Degree in School Administration from Gardner Webb University.  I have been an Assistant Principal at Kernersville Elementary for 12 years and served as Interim Principal for six months.

I am married to Tony Grace and we have one daughter, Toni J. Grace.  I am very proud to say that Toni graduated from Wake Forest University School of Law in May 2010.  In the summer, my husband and I love to travel and catch up on the movies we havent seen all year.  I enjoy spending my free time gardening and reading.

In my thirty-five years as an educator I have seen a lot of changes, but one thing has remained constant children will always need nurturing, care and love. At Kernersville Elementary School we strive to provide an environment that meets the needs of all students.
