My name is Laura Wilmoth. I have taught kindergarten for 16 years!  I absolutely love kindergarten because the students are so excited and ready to learn!  I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Psychology.  In 2002, I became a National Board Certified Teacher.  I just completed my Master's Degree in Elementary Education through Gardner-Web University this August.
 
I am truly honored to have the opportunity to work with your child during his/her first year at Caleb's Creek Elementary School!  This year will be filled with numerous fun learning experiences!  Kindergarten is the foundation of all other learning...so let the learning begin!
 
When I am not teaching, I love to spend time with my husband, Terry, and my two amazing children, Cameron and Ashley.  Cameron just turned eight and started second grade this year!  Ashley is 3 1/2 and loves to do everything!  I have a toy fox terrier named Charley.  When I have some spare time, I love to scrapbook, bake, read, and hike in the mountains with my family.  Also, my family is currently hosting a 17-year old foreign exchange student from Norway.  She is a senior at East Forsyth High School.
