We’re going to Ireland: the Emerald Isle

Mr. Lail will be hosting a meeting to discuss this opportunity in detail and answer any questions on Thursday, 30 August, at 6:00 p.m. in the Paisley Media Center

Ireland Global awareness is more essential than ever for our children, and the best way to become globally aware is by traveling abroad.  Experiencing new cultures not only opens students’ eyes to the world, it also prepares them for the future. More and more colleges and universities are looking for international experience on students’ applications to set them apart.  Travel isn’t just educational; it’s an investment that gives your child an advantage in a competitive world.

With that in mind, I’m excited to announce that a group of students and teachers from Paisley Magnet School are traveling on an educational tour of Ireland in June 2013.blarney castle

On this 9-day tour, students will experience new cultures and visit important sites such as Dublin, see the Book of Kells at Trinity College, Galway, Connemara, the Cliffs of Moher, Killarney Street, Patrick’s Cathedral, Kildare, the Ring of Kerry, Blarney Castle, Cork County, and Kilkenny.  If you decide to take the 2-day tour extension (11 days) we will tour Derry, visit St. Columb’s Cathedral and the Tower Museum, take an excursion to Giant’s Causeway and conclude with a tour of Belfast.

The tour is operated by EF Educational Tours. You can learn more online at www.eftours.com/1163498.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that will truly set your child apart so please attend the meeting if you are interested. Contact Mr. Lail for an informational packet!
