The only way to become better readers is to read!  To this end, we have a standing assignment for each student to read at least 20 minutes per night.  Other homework and long-term assignments always are written on the classwork/homework calendar.  Students will be given time daily to write classwork and homework in their planners, and are expected to show this to their parents each weekend to get a parent signature.  In addition to the planner, homework will be posted on our team.  Edmodo and other classroom documents will be accessible from my website.
