Students at Mt. Tabor have amazing opportunities to explore their talents through the arts and performing groups who often bring home trophies from the many competitions that they enter.
To the left, you can find out who to contact for each group, as well as see pictures of students participating in these groups. Develop a new talent or improve an existing one with our professional, high-caliber staff!
The following are just a few of the awards that our arts and performing groups have won:
{ Theatre Arts State Awards (NCTC) were earned in Acting, Directing and Tech 2005-10; Superior Rating 2007-10; State Competition level reached in 2009 & 2010.
{ Visual Arts helped collaborate with public artists at the Sawtooth Center; 10 of the 21 Humane Society cats/dogs displays were Mount Tabor students in 2010.
{ Choral Ensemble earned Superior Rating at the State Festival from 2004-2010.
{ Band earned Superior Rating at District Band Festival from 2001-2010, Regional Marching Band contests, and students were placed in All-County and District bands, as well as Governors School.
{ Orchestra earned a Superior Rating at State Festival in 2010; students were placed in Western Region and All-State Orchestra, as well as Governors School.
