WELCOME TO MY CLASS:
I am entering my 26th year as teacher and soccer coach at Mount Tabor. I attended UNCW and Wake Forest University and taught for two years at Bishop McGuiness High School before moving to Sparta.
I will follow the school handbook in terms of attendance and make up work and my grading system works thusly:
Classwork and homework counts 20% of student's quarter grade (lowest grade is dropped).
Quizzes (in-class essays, etc.) count 30% of student's quarter grade (lowest grade is dropped).
Tests, formal essays, and projects count 50 % of student's quarter grade (lowest grade is NOT dropped).
