Welcome to the Art department at Marvin Ward Elementary School. Art By Me has been another great success this year. I still have a couple of late order and one miss order to take care of. If anyone has any problems with their Art By Me be sure to let me know.
My art room helpers have been very busy. Completing work for shows and making bowls for the Second Harvest Food Bank's Empty Bowls event. For a small donation guest will be served a soup lunch and may choose a hand crafted bowl as a keepsake. It is truly a great event.
Congratulations to Lyna Giao she will be representing Ward Elementary school at the Winston-Salem 100th year art exhibit. She was one of 36 students selected from kindergarten through 12 grade. Her work will be on display on 6th street starting May 10th.
