I am in my seventh year as a teacher at East Forsyth and am fortunate to be at this great school and teaching the young men and women of our community. In addition to my teaching experience, I bring a wealth of outside professional experience to the classroom. I retired from the Army in 2006 after 21 years of service and have chosen to pursue a second career in education. While in the Army, I earned a Masters Degree in Applied Mathematics from the Naval Postgraduate School and used my education and training to apply mathematical and analytical solutions to military problems. As a leader in the Army, I focused on the professional and personal growth of my soldiers and received my greatest reward when they achieved personal success. As a teacher, I strive to do the same for my students and will work hard to help them succeed.
