Teaching Experience 

I teach art at Southeast Middle School. I have a B.A. in art and I am AP certified.  This will be my 17th year teaching art.  I love  painting, clay sculpture, pottery and making jewelry. I have two sons that attended Southeast Middle. Southeast is a great school . I look forward to teaching art in the  2012-13 school year. My room # is 406

Supply List

I request that all students buy a sketchbook  for my art class.

 
 Parents we need paper wipes, Black sharpies, foam plates, glue sticks, elmer's glue, colored pencils and Yarn !!! Any donations are greatly  appreciated !

 


Course Outline
All art classes will provides a basic understanding of the Elements and Principles of art as emphasized through the production of art, the study of art history, aesthetics and art criticism.


 

Classroom Expectations

All students are expected to follow classroom guidelines and routines.
Students are expected to complete all assignments on time.

 

Grades

70%=projects, notebook/sketchbook=20%, Particapation=10%

Art Club

 Art club will meet  once a month until 3:00.  Bring a snack to share. You must have a ride by 3:00. Check with your art teacher for the first meeting. It will be posted every month on that board and in the classroom.
