A reminder to students and parents about making up work when absent: as stated in the student agenda, students will be given one day's extension for each day's absence to turn in work.  For example, if a student had an assignment due on Tuesday, but missed Tuesday, the assignment would be due upon the student's return.  Extended absences will be handled on an individual basis. Students who missed an extended period should plan to stay for each teacher's tutoring session to help understand the missed work.
In regards to missing assignments on the progress report, students MUST have missing work turned in by the Monday following the progress report.  There will be no extensions.  Progress reports go out Wednesday, April 24th, so work must be turned in by Monday, April 29th for a student to receive any credit.

Extra help sessions will be held on Tuesdays.  Students needing extra help in both Math and Language A may split their time between Mr. Loftis and me.  Students planning to stay need to sign up on the after school sheet posted on the door of my classroom during the day on Tuesday.     I have car duty this quarter, so extra help will be from 3:10 to 3:50.  Students must have a ride home here at 3:45.  If a student is not picked up by 4:00 p.m., he or she will no longer be able to stay for extra help.
