I have been teaching 7th grade math at Hanes for eight years. I look forward to a great year of
problem-solving.
Supplies:
#2 pencils, sharpened for class (working mechanical pencils are fine)
two spiral/bound notebooks (one for notes, one for homework)
notebook paper
graph paper (keep in locker or at home until needed)
section in binder or folder for math papers
box of tissues
book bag must fit in locker - they are not allowed in classrooms
hand held pencil sharpener
Please! No hand sanitizer!
Calculators:
We will use graphing calculators in class. I strongly recommend that you have access to one of the following calculators for home use: Ti-83+, Ti-84 series, or Ti-Nspire. Any of these calculators can be used throughout high school.
