I am excited to be the only core teacher for our team this year! It is my hope that having fewer transitions and more time for relationship building will result in more success for our students.
This is my seventh year in WSFCSchools. My family moved here in 2006 from Texas. I love the beach, gardening, running, my dogs and cat, doing home improvement projects, and (of course) reading. I am also working toward my Master's degree in Gifted Education at Elon University (2014) and plan to get my National Board Certification along the way.
I am licensed in Pre-Kindergarten, Elementary (K-6 all subjects), Language Arts, Social Studies and Math (7-9th grade). I have taught all the grades and subjects I am licensed to teach, and believe that my breadth of experience helps me understand your student's past, present, and future educational needs.
We are planning a productive year. I love learning, and try to pass that enthusiasm along to others. Let's have a great year!!
Tutoring on Tuesdays and Thursdays 2:00 - 3:00 (Activity Bus will run those days),
or on Mondays and Wednesdays by appointment (with parent pick-up).
