About Mrs. Peterson...

I am a Wake Forest University graduate with a BA in English. I teach sophomore English and Journalism I/Yearbook I, and I advise the school newspaper, the Zephyr. I have been teaching at West for fifteen years and am looking forward to this year!

 
After I graduated from Wake Forest, I spent 11 months traveling around the world- literally. Visiting more than 20 countries fostered my love of world culture and world literature. I am so excited to be able to use my experiences in the classroom!

 
When I am not teaching, I am spending time with my six-old-daughter Janie, my three-year-old daughter Audrey and my husband Dan. I love reading and am a member of two book clubs. I am also an avid sports fan and cheer for the Wake Forest Demon Deacons, the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Minnesota Vikings, and the Minnesota Twins.
