Our Mission
The mission of the Internal Audit department is to provide independent, objective assurance and consulting services designed to improve the financial operations of Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools. Internal Audit aims to help the district accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of financial policies and procedures in the individual schools.
