Dear Reynolds High School Students and their Parents
Welcome to the 2010-2011 school year. You are truly in a special place and I can only hope that your experiences here at R.J. Reynolds High School will assist you in fulfilling whatever dreams you might have for yourself. Tradition is a word often used when discussing our school, and I'm confident that the achievements and accolades of our current student body will last and be remembered for many generations to come.
Reynolds is proud to offer a variety of academic and extra-curricular opportunities for its students. It is no secret that students that are actively involved with and engaged in their school tend to do better than those that are not. I am hopeful that each of you will consider investing your time and effort in the many activities and organizations that are designed to help you grow and develop as a mature and responsible individual.
This website is designed to be an effective resource for both students and parents alike. I am hopeful that many of your questions can be answered here. Much of this information is also available in the student handbook that is handed out at the beginning of the year. The handbook provides guidelines and regulations necessary to provide a safe and productive learning environment as well as pertinent information as it relates to the operations of Reynolds High School.
